| In 332 B.C. Egypt is conquered by Alexander the Great (Macedonian Dynasty of mainland Greece [332-304 B.C.]). After his death, the Greek general Ptolemy and his descendants rule. Important temples are built completely in Egyptian style. Many, such as those of Edfu and Dendara, are preserved to this day. | ||
