Architect’s Handkerchief, as well as the other rooftop sculptures, was not originally made for the Museum. Look at the top photograph of the Museum’s Roof Garden before the sculptures were installed. Then look at the bottom photograph of Architect’s Handkerchief overlooking Central Park as it now appears in the Iris and B. Gerald Cantor Roof Garden.
