MetShare
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is pleased to offer visitors several ways to enhance their understanding of and appreciation for works of art in its collection, and to connect with and share their experiences with others. All of these endeavors represent additional ways for the Museum to further the mission that has guided it since 1870: "…encouraging and developing the study of the fine arts, and the application of arts to manufacture and practical life, of advancing the general knowledge of kindred subjects, and, to that end, of furnishing popular instruction."
