About the Speaker
Mr. Bolton previously served as Senior Research Fellow in Contemporary Fashion, Victoria & Albert Museum/London College of Fashion. Among the recent exhibitions he has curated are American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity (2010), Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, (2008); blog.mode: addressing fashion (2007), Poiret: King of Fashion (2007), AngloMania: Tradition and Transgression in British Fashion, (2006); Chanel (2005), Wild: Fashion Untamed (2004); Dangerous Liaisons: Fashion and Furniture in the 18th Century, (2004); Bravehearts: Men in Skirts (2003); and Blithe Spirit: The Windsor Set (2002) for which he authored the accompanying publications. He is Visiting Professor, University of the Arts London.
