Educational Programs
The Metropolitan Museum has scheduled a variety of educational programs in conjunction with the exhibition, including a lecture, gallery talks, documentary films, and special programs for students and families. Some highlights are outlined below. For further information, see the online calendar.

PROGRAM FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

"Walking on the Roof"
This summer, six sculptures by Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein are installed on the Roof Garden of the Metropolitan. This class includes drawing, sketching, and discussion of these playful works of art and the complex ideas behind them.

OFF-SITE PROGRAMS FOR FAMILIES AND YOUNG PEOPLE

Meet the Met: The Off-Site Program for Families and Young People" focuses on this exhibition in educational programs in preschool, after-school, and weekend family classes at community and religious centers, libraries, and schools throughout New York City. During the series of visits, Education staff and contractual lecturers lead group discussions using slides and conduct art workshops. The groups are given follow-up tours in the Museum.
