Special Monday Viewing—"Vincent van Gogh: The Drawings"

In addition to the Metropolitan Museum's public hours, the Museum is providing an opportunity for Members and groups to view the "Vincent van Gogh: The Drawings" exhibition on selected Mondays when the Museum is closed to the public. To reserve tickets, call our special Museum reservation line at 212-731-1200. Reservations can be made Monday through Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. All guests with a reserved date and ticket will enter the Museum's entrance at 81st Street and 5th Avenue.

Monday viewing dates: November 7, 14, 21, 28; December 5, 12, 19.


Vincent van Gogh-inspired Dining Opportunities

Starting Tuesday, October 18, enjoy Dutch-inspired Afternoon Tea set against the backdrop of Central Park in the Carroll and Milton Petrie European Sculpture Court.

The Petrie Court Café welcomes guest chefs Franck Deletrain of Café Centro on Friday, October 21, and Julian Alonzo of Brasserie 8 1/2 on Saturday, October 22. In Line with Van Gogh

October 4, 2005, through January 8, 2006

A corresponding installation features some 70 works selected from the collection of the Metropolitan Museum. Included are prints and drawings by Rembrandt, Daumier, Millet, Hokusai, Hiroshige, and other artists whose work influenced Van Gogh, as well as works by his contemporaries and followers such as Signac, Seurat, Matisse, and Picasso.
