	Viewing the Neapolitan Nativity scene displayed with the Metropolitan Museum's Christmas tree has become a holiday tradition for thousands of Museum visitors. Our Angel Tree Christmas Ornament for 2007, the seventh in a series of annual ornaments, is based on an original 18th-century figure attributed to Giuseppe Gori (Italian [Neapolitan], active ca. 1770–1810) crafted in terracotta, fabric, and wood. Cast pewter and 24K gold plate, with hand-applied enamel. Length 3 1/4 in. Individually packaged in a box with a flannel pouch; includes golden cord for hanging.
