Clearance - Stripes and Dots Tie

	Our tie is adapted from a Russian textile in the Museum’s collection. Although the geometric design on the original piece may seem strikingly modern, it dates from the late 19th century. Whole villages in Russia were then dedicated to textile manufacture, and every able-bodied inhabitant of these villages was employed in the local industry. The rainbow-color effect of the textile was developed earlier in the century. Imported woven silk. Fully-faced, with self-loop. Width 3 5/8 in. Available in red/gold.
