New - Eyelight: The Favorite Cat
Eyelight: The Favorite Cat
Both artful and useful, Eyelights are illuminated magnifiers the size of a credit card—perfect for carrying anywhere in a wallet, jacket pocket, or purse. Simply place an Eyelight over a menu item, Museum label, or other small-size text, and press the button on the bottom. The text is lit up, magnified, and easy to read. The image on this Eyelight is drawn from the Museum’s The Favorite Cat, published by Nathaniel Currier (American, 1813–1888). Cats were a popular theme of the prints produced by Currier and his business partner, James Merritt Ives. Many Victorian parlors were decorated with their renowned sentimental prints, which ranged from seascapes to pastoral scenes to current events.

Includes protective plastic case and battery. Length 2 1/4 in., width 3 3/8 in.
