The Metropolitan Museum of Art Watercolor Set
The Metropolitan Museum of Art Watercolor Set
Known for its transparency and luminosity, watercolor is a medium favored by many artists like Homer, Eakins, and Palmer. Create your own masterworks using the 16 watercolor tubes in this set, which also includes two paint brushes and one unsharpened graphite pencil for sketching. The plexiglass cover is decorated with the Museum’s Renaissance “M” logo, a design taken from proportional renderings of letters in De Divina Proportione, a book by Italian artist Luca Pacioli (ca. 1445–ca. 1514).
