	Our Jeweled Star Pendant is based on a detail from Queen Charlotte, a painting ca. 1775 by an unknown artist. The portrait, which depicts Queen Charlotte of England (1744–1818) in a lovely, diamond-encrusted tiara composed of slender stars, is believed to have been painted around the time the American colonies declared their independence in the 1770s. Produced in cooperation with the North Carolina Museum of Art. Sterling silver, with crystals. Pendant length 7/8 in.; chain length 18 in.
