This free standing, triptych-style Advent calendar reproduces a celebrated 16th-century painting by Gerard David, The Nativity with Donors and Saints Jerome and Leonard. Rejoicing angels hover over the Holy Family while shepherds approach to worship the newborn King. Each of the 24 die-cut windows features an exquisite detail from the painting, with text about its symbolism and significance.
