Late Antique Moonstone Pendant

Jewelry from the Late Antique period reflected the Roman taste for colorful stones and gold work featuring the techniques of filigree and granulation. Our Late Antique Moonstone Pendant is based on a 6th-century gold hoop earring with a circular pendant surrounded by three triangular clusters of granules. Produced in cooperation with the Brooklyn Museum of Art.

14K gold with 24K gold plate, with moonstones and cultured freshwater pearls. Pendant length 7/8 in.; chain length 18 in.
