A master of many media, Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848–1933) was one of America's most noted decorative artists at the turn of the century. Son of the founder of the silver and jewelry firm Tiffany and Company of New York, Louis Tiffany began his career as a painter but moved quickly to interior decoration and other decorative media. Under his direction, Tiffany Studios produced leaded-glass windows, lamps, and other extraordinary blown-glass creations, many of which are found in the Museum's American Wing. Our notecards capture the beauty of Tiffany's innovative glasswork with stunning details of his leaded-glass windows. Produced in cooperation with the Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art, Winter Park, Florida.
