This wall painting depicts a statue of Diana Lucina bearing torches, within a larger shrine. The statue's yellow color and composition are suggestive of a bronze or perhaps gilded bronze sculpture. It is generally uncommon to be able to determine the media of statues depicted in Roman wall painting with any degree of accuracy.
