    Because it was found in the weaving room of the sister's shop at the New Lebanon, New York, Shaker community, this pine sill-cupboard is sometimes called a "weave-chest." Comprising a recessed cupboard above and a four-drawer chest below, the piece has also been called a "cupboard-chest." The paneled cupboard door is unusually narrow.
