Provenance Research Project The following list was compiled in conjunction with Director Philippe de Montebello's testimony on April 12, 2000 before a Presidential Advisory Commission on Holocaust Assets. Inclusion on this list indicates that more information is required to complete our knowledge of the ownership of these works during the Nazi era. It does not indicate that the works are suspect. The Museum's research project is ongoing; additional information will be published as it becomes available.
