Mosque Lamp

Not on view

This mosque lamp belongs to a relatively small group of pottery lamps. Unlike those in glass, the ceramic examples are not particularly well-suited to their function and this may be the reason for the scarcity of such pieces. The piercing of the walls in these would allow the emission of some light.
