Acquisitions Dinner

Tickets and ticket packages start at $650

The Acquisitions Dinner gives guests a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how The Met builds its collection. From meticulous research to surprising discoveries, this evening celebrates the little-known stories behind how works of art are acquired for the greatest art collection in the world.

  • Collector Table (seating 10): $80,000
  • Benefactor Table (seating 10): $55,000
  • Patron Table (seating 10): $35,000
  • Patron Ticket: $3,500
  • Benefactor Ticket: $6,000
  • Collector Ticket: $10,000

Apollo Circle Tables and Tickets

  • Apollo Circle Member Table (seating 10): $6,500
  • Apollo Circle Member Ticket: $650

Any amount in excess of $180 per ticket is fully deductible within the limits prescribed by law. 


Special Ticket Packages

The Benefactor: $90,000

  • Collector Table seating 10 guests at the 2017 Acquisitions Dinner
  • A private tour of your choice of a Met special exhibition or collection on view on a Friday or Saturday, followed by an intimate dinner with wine pairings at Flora Bar at The Met Breuer (for up to 10 people).
  • Listing in the dinner program
  • Within the limits prescribed by law, $85,735 is tax deductible.

The Scholar: $10,000

  • Two individual $3,500 tickets at the 2017 Acquisitions Dinner
  • Experience the breadth of the Museum's special exhibition program with a one-year subscription to a selection of Met catalogues chosen by the Director (hardcover where applicable; up to 10 catalogues total).
  • Listing in the dinner program
  • Within the limits prescribed by law, $8,890 is tax deductible.

Ticket packages are limited and are redeemable within one year of purchase.

Table and ticket package purchasers will be listed in the dinner program.
