From bloodthirsty monsters to enticing sirens, Odysseus faces down every obstacle imaginable as he sails home from war in this one-hour opera retelling of Homer's epic tale. First commissioned by The Glimmerglass Festival, this all-new production features visuals from The Met's extensive collection of Greek art and artifacts. A hero's journey for all ages.

Odyssey: A Youth Opera was commissioned by and premiered at The Glimmerglass Festival in 2015.

Tickets to this event include same day Museum admission.

Enjoy a pre-performance drink in the Grace Rainey Rogers Auditorium. Doors will open approximately one hour prior to the event and you may purchase a drink and relax in your seat prior to the show.
