Curator's Choice: Trailblazers

For Members with Opening Nights and Patrons $850 for the four-part course

This four-part course highlights the Museum's vast collection through an exploration of the theme "Trailblazers" across cultures. Four curators will select works of art from their respective departments that reflect this theme. Each curator will explore the theme in the context of the artist/maker, subject matter, discipline, or media.

Sean Hemingway, John A. and Carole O. Moran Acting Curator in Charge, on works in the Department of Greek and Roman Art

Jeff Rosenheim, Joyce Frank Menschel Curator in Charge, on works in the Department of Photographs' exhibition William Eggleston: Los Alamos

April 26
Kurt Behrendt, Associate Curator, on works in the Department of Asian Art

Start with a tour in the galleries before the Museum opens to the public, followed by a discussion and light refreshments in the Patrons Lounge.
