Juno seated on tall throne with tapestry behind, wearing embroidered dress and fur-trimmed mantle and holding sceptre in her right hand, leaning slightly to left; men at work under vaults in the background; after Elsheimer. The painting was in the Arundel collection but is now lost (see K. Andrews, 'Adam Elsheimer:Paintings-Drawings-Prints', Oxford 1977, under no. 22).
Inscription: Lettered with title in centre of margin "IUNO". Below left "Ælsheimer pinxit" and at right "W: Hollar fecit,secundum Originale / ex Collectione Arundeliana, 1646".
