This exhibition presents the Museum's distinguished collection of folk paintings, featuring works by Rufus Hathaway, Edward Hicks, Joshua Johnson, Ammi Phillips, and others working within naive and provincial traditions in the United States during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. The selection includes portraiture, landscapes, mourning scenes, and historical and religious works.
