Cloche

Designer Fisher American
1923–25
Not on view
The refined materials used in this cloche were more commonly found in women's boudoir caps of the time. The cloche form moves the hat out of the bedroom and renders it more appropriate for a child. The use of pastel ribbonwork, net, and lace suggest the hat would most likely have been worn for presentation purposes.
