This pair of boy's pants is an example of the modified sailor pant style with wide legs and cuffs which were in vogue during this period. Made of synthetic sharkskin, this fabric had a supple drape and followed the soft lines of the 1930s. Interesting to note, this fabric was also employed for WAVES uniforms at the same time.
