Suit
This custom-made suit, with its subtle, visually appealing pattern, features hallmark details of early 1950s menswear with its long jacket without vent, broad shoulders and pleated pants with cuffed hem. The suit was given to the collection by Sid Caesar (1922), comic actor, writer and pioneer in television comedy, especially in his role as host of the 1950-54 live variety program, "Your Show of Shows."
