Terracotta oil lamp
Loeschcke Type 1B. Mold-made. Discus: gladiator facing right but advancing left, wearing crested helmet, holding long rectangular shield on his left arm and a sword in raised right hand, and his right leg bent under him, with a band of concentric lines and grooves towards edge. Single filling hole between his legs. Volutes flanking nozzle. Within raised base ring, flat base, with the raised letter I at center.
