Terracotta oil lamp
Loeschcke Type 1A. Mold-made. Discus: figure in long tunic with many folds, seated facing forward, leaning on his left arm and right folded towards chest; his legs bent below him to his right, with a band of concentric lines and grooves towards edge. Single filling hole to left of figure and small air hole at edge behind nozzle. Volutes flanking nozzle. Within raised base ring, flat base, with the raised letter E towards one side.
Intact, except for small chip in edge of shoulder; patches of encrustation on side of body.
