Terracotta kylix (drinking cup)
Attributed to the Brygos Painter
Interior, komast (reveler)
In a wonderfully loose-limbed pose, the drinker looks to his left and, thanks to the walking stick on which he leans, twists to the right with his right leg bent. The himation (cloak) that falls over his back serves as a kind of curtain against which the body is disposed. The figure holds a kylix in his right hand. A large basket hangs on the wall to the right.
