Glass perfume bottle

ca. 2nd century CE
Not on view
Translucent pale yellow green.
Rim folded out, over, and in, then flattened into mouth; vertical neck to one side of body; irregular globular body; kick in bottom.
Around side, irregular pattern of 7 indents.
Intact; many pinprick and larger bubbles, and a few gritty inclusions; faint iridescent weathering on exterior, patches of encrustation and thicker weathering on interior.
After inflation the bottle has been worked around the rim and neck to give the impression of a face with a nose and wearing a brimmed hat.
