In Cornice

ca. 1924
Not on view
Nizzoli's folded collage pleats two newspaper portraits together. As the viewer scans the work from right to left, the face of the matinée idol is gradually replaced by the smiling face of another person. Thus the angle of vision determines the content of the image.
