Between 1925 and 1929 architect Erich Consemüller made more than three hundred photographs of Bauhaus interiors, workshops, preliminary course work, and theater performances. He gave this sequence of views recording Schlemmer's theater piece Black-White to Werner Siedhoff, who danced one of the parts.
