Portrait Composition (Woman with Cards)

Florence Henri American

Not on view

It was doubtless through her teacher Moholy-Nagy that twenty-one of Henri's photographs were included in the important Film und Foto exhibition in Stuttgart (1929). Although her output was limited and is not widely known today, her best photographs are among the most persistently stimulating to issue from the new vision of the Bauhaus.
