Clarence H. White and Family
Käsebier and White were leading figures in the world of art photography by the time Stieglitz selected them as founding members of the Photo-Secession in 1902, when this photograph was made. Both artists were featured in Camera Work the following year—Käsebier in the first issue and White in the third. They remained friends and aesthetic allies even after they parted ways with Stieglitz a decade later.
