Death of the Wild Bull (Scene in Chillingham Park)
Not on view
A group which shows Lord Ossulston (later 6th Earl of Tankerville) holding a rifle and resting his foot upon a wild bull he has just shot. He is accompanied by his pony Hotspur, two bloodhounds and his deerhound Bran. The latter licks the keeper, Coles, whom he has just saved from being gored by the bull, which had tossed him. Based on a painting of 1836.
