1-176 pp., 7 color plates, illustrated endpapers and line drawings by Rackham throughout the text. Original royal blue cloth binding decorated with gilt on spine and upper cover. This is the trade edition which has the same illustrations as limited edition but different pictorial end-papers. The story and illustrations had first appeared in the magazine Good Housekeeping, beginning May 1925.
