Second edition of Volume 1 of Vincent La Chapelle's cookbook 'Le Cuisinier Moderne', dedicated to Willem IV, Prince of Orange-Nassau, who was one of his employers. The book contains five fold-out plates in the front, four of which show table settings, and the fifth is a description of a menu designed for 100 guests. The book includes an index in the back.
