Four issues bound-in, tan half-leather binding with gold embossing, marbelized boards of pink, blue, gold and green. This is the second of two volumes published in 1893. This volume (II) includes three booklets,''fascicules'', numbered monthly : Number V (May), Number VI (June), and Number VII (July).
Le Bambou was a literary journal published by Édouard Guillaume and edited by E. Dentu. There are different illustrations for every monthly cover and each page contains only one column of text. Throughout the text are wood engraved illustrations by various artists, such as Ludek Marold and Ary Gambard.
