Theatrical costume for a man carrying two deer
Drawing, design for a male costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a violet shirt with bell sleeves lined with gray, worn under a dark green vest with a pattern of golden dots, green trousers, and pointed-toe purple and white ankle boots. A gray and dark green hat covers the head, and a white belt with a knife and bag is tied around the waist. The male figure in the drawing carries two deer, colored with brown, over his shoulders. A swatch of violet cloth is attached to the upper right corner of the sheet.
