Man Walking in the Snow Carrying a Covered Basket, Accompanied by a Small Terrier
Abbey drew this holiday card and used it to send greetings to an unknown recipient from himself and his wlfe. He met Mary Gertrude Mead in 1888 at Russell House, an artist's summer colony in the Cotswolds village of Broadway, and they married in 1890.
