Valentine's Day Card in its Original Envelope
Decorated envelope addressed to " Miss Mary E. Harding / 337 Sixth Street / New York" (upside down). Double card with a laced front. In the center an image has been stuck showing an interior with a girl in the arms of her mother and a man standing in the background on the left. On the card are several lines of printed text: "remember me"; "In me you still shall find, A valentine booth (sic) true and kind"; "Don't think me rude in sending this / I seal my letter with a kiss" (partly covered by the decorations). Inside the card a small lithograph is stuck showing a putto with flowers and a poem.
