Design for a horizontal panel filled with a meandering acanthus rinceau. On the top left a sphinx is depicted with a putto holding a flag riding on its back. On the top left another sphinx-like creature with the head of a lion holds on to the sphinx's tail of acanthus leaves. Below a second putto, whose lower body consists of acanthus leaves, is holding on to the tail as well.
