Trade cards from the "Albums of American Stars" series (N98), issued in 1887 to promote Honest Long Cut Tobacco, manufactured by W. Duke Sons & Co. Each card is affixed within a folding frame so that the card image occupies the right side of the open folder and an ad for Honest Long Cut Smoking and Chewing Tobacco runs along the left side of the folder. Closed, the folders' exteriors host one of five decorative motifs.
