This print is bound in Volume I of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume I contains "desseins... pour la décoration des maisons, etouches, edifices;." This print is part of a series of six plates depicting designs for paneling and other decorations. The series was published by Jean Le Pautre, by Jean I Leblond, by Pierre II Mariette in 1661, and by Jombert in 1751.
