This print is bound in Volume II of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume II contains "desseins... pour la décoration des Eglises et des Jardins;." This print is part of a series of six plates, most ornamented with figures in contemporary costumes, depicting choir doors. The series was published by Jean Le Pautre, by Jean I Leblond, by Pierre II Mariette in 1661, and by Jombert in 1751.
