This print is bound in Volume III of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume III contains "desseins d'orfeverie, serrurerie, etc.;" This print is part of a series of six plates depciting frames in the Roman style. The series was published by Pierre II Mariette around 1656–57 and by Jombert in 1751.
