This print is bound in Volume IV of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume IV contains "desseins d'ornemens et trophées d'armes;" This print is part of a series of six plates depicting trophies of arms in the in the antique and modern styles. The series was published by Pierre II Mariette and was republished by Jombert in 1751.
