This print is bound in Volume IV of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume IV contains "desseins d'ornemens et trophées d'armes;" This print is part of a series of twelve plates depicting panels of ornement in the Roman style. The series was published by Jean I Leblond around 1651, by Pierre II Mariette in 1667, and by Jombert in 1751.
