This print is bound in Volume IV of Oeuvres. Jombert published his collection of Le Pautre in 1751. Volume IV contains "desseins d'ornemens et trophées d'armes;" This print is part of a series of six plates depicting friezes in the manner of bas-relief within borders. The series was published by Jean Le Pautre and by Jean I Leblond.
