Plaque with The Annunciation
This plaque has been detached from a larger object, perhaps a book cover or a small altar. Another plaque, representing the Nativity, from the same object is in the Museum für Kunst und Gewerbe, Hamburg. The style of both compositions appears to be indebted to contemporary Upper Rhenish prints.
